BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
★ The “Ross” lookalike didn’t show up for his court date.  A British judge has issued an arrest warrant for the alleged shoplifter — who resembles a Friends-era David Schwimmer — after he failed to appear in court yesterday.  36-year-old Abdulah Husseni was scheduled to appear in a Blackpool, England, court to face charges of theft and fraud. His image went viral in October after police released surveillance-camera footage of him carrying a case of beer from a restaurant — because he looked so much like Schwimmer’s Friends character.

★ The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced that Jeff Bridges will receive the Cecil B. DeMille award at the 76th Golden Globes on Jan. 6.  Bridges has starred in films like “The Big Lebowski,” “Crazy Heart,” “True Grit,” and “The Fabulous Baker Boys.” His first Golden Globe nomination came in 1984 for best actor in “Starman.” Seven years later he received his second Golden Globe nomination for his performance in “The Fisher King,” which co-starred Robin Williams.

★ It’s not unusual for the makers of “Fortnite” to use popular dances as ‘emotes’ in the hit game and now “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’s” Alfonso Ribiero is suing the company for taking his “Carlton Dance” and making money from it. Ribiero is suing Epic Games for what he calls an “unauthorized use” of his signature move.
-TheBlast
★ “Riverdale” star, Lili Reinhart has announced that she’s taking a break from what she calls the “cesspool” that is Twitter because of the toxic comments and negativity she’s faced on the platform. She announced the break via her Instagram Stories. Although she doesn’t specify what prompted her to take the break, there was some activity on the weekend between her castmates and a hater on Twitter.
-Cosmopolitan
★ Model and actress Babi Christina Engelhardt says that in 1976, at the age of just 16, she began an eight-year relationship with then-41-year-old Woody Allen. Engelhardt says she is speaking out now “to provide a perspective.” She says she is not attacking Allen, but rather talking about her “love story” and says she has no regrets.  Engelhardt said she believes she was at least in part the inspiration for Mariel Hemingway’s character in Allen’s 1977 film “Manhattan”, which showed a 17-year-old in a relationship with a 42-year-old man, played by Allen.

BS MUSIC NOTES:
• Post Malone – His fans can now pick up a stuffed toy version of him.  Known for its “funny ugly” looking toys, Fuggler has created the Post Malone doll, complete with face tattoos, facial fuzz and a Posty Co. T-shirt. This comes hot on the heels of Malone’s sold out partnership with Crocs footwear.  (And that’s the first time the words “Crocs” and “hot” have ever appeared in the same sentence!)
• Drake – had extra security outside his home on Friday, amid his ongoing feud with Kanye West.  Both rappers live in the same California gated community.  The latest incident began on Thursday, when Ye took aim at Drake, tweeting over 125 times, claiming Drake threatened his family, targeted people suffering from mental illness and contacted his mother-in-law Kris Jenner behind his back.
• Kelly Clarkson – said she overcame her shyness because of Aretha Franklin as she paid tribute to the late soul legend for ABC’s ‘2018: In Memoriam’. Quote: “I feel like she’s the reason why I’m not so shy… Music really did give me that confidence and she really did stir something inside me that broke down those barriers that I had built up as a child.”
• Paul McCartney – He and Emma Stone have teamed up to combat bullying and negativity. The two have reimagined his new single ‘Who Cares’ as a short film, which features a message of universal positivity, in hopes of raising awareness for a new anti-bullying campaign called #WhoCaresIDo.
• Neil Young – will release an expanded double-length reissue of his 1990 “Ragged Glory” album next year after producer John Hanlon discovered some unreleased songs.  Young’s website says that the recently unearthed songs are “equal to anything on the existing record, maybe better.”
• Blake Shelton – has been voted 2018 Taste of Country Fan Choice Entertainer of the Year.  The entire winners list, voted on exclusively by fans, can be found here:  http://tasteofcountry.com/taste-of-country-2018-fan-choice-awards-winners/
• Carrie Underwood – After Jessica Smetana, a sports news producer for Sports Illustrated, tweeted “we hate the new Carrie Underwood song”, Underwood took the high road, responding with: “I know my music isn’t for everyone, but I love what I do and I love being a part of @SNFonNBC! I also love women who build other women up…just saying…”

CABBIN’ PRESSURE:
The concept of “flying cars” has always been one that was thought of as something that will happen “in the future”, but it seems the future might be closer than you think.  About 12 companies are currently testing flying cars, or passenger drones, and experts predict that there will be 15,000 air taxis in the sky by 2035. Vertical takeoff and landing craft (VTOLs) could deliver people and goods across traffic-clogged cities in a fraction of the time it takes to drive, and take cars off the road at the same time.  Most air-taxis currently being developed run on battery power and could potentially transport their cargo at speeds of 150-330 km/h (90-200 mph).  At this point the question isn’t ‘if’ but ‘when’. And the biggest obstacle isn’t in creating the vehicle, but in figuring out a safe way to integrate thousands of these vehicles into a safe air mobility system above heavily congested cities.
(And getting the government permits…)
(And cab drivers think a lot of people get sick in their vehicles now…)
(You think “double parking” is a problem?  Wait ‘til you see “triple parking!”)

DREAMING OF AN OMBRE CHRISTMAS:
Do you ever get bored of all that red-and-green at Christmastime?  It seems some people are, which could explain the popularity in some circles of…black Christmas trees.  Yup.  You heard right.  Thousands have taken to social media to post their pics of black Christmas trees decorated up in their own unique styles, whether it be a Halloween motif, or regular Christmas decorations affixed to a black artificial tree. And a black tree lends itself to coming up with a different decorating theme every year.  Also becoming a thing this year:  Ombre trees.  Which I’m told is the gradual blending of one color into another, such as white into green, or white into…you guessed it: black.
(A black Christmas tree? I’m willing to bet all those “goth” kids I went to high school with have one of those things!)
(The great thing about a “Halloween” Christmas tree is that you can put it up in October and no one can complain!)
(I guess the old evergreen isn’t green forever!)

ROYAL FAMILY HOLIDAY TRADITIONS:
☞ Signing Christmas cards (really) early:  With 800 cards to personally add her “Elizabeth Regina” to, the Queen spends part of her summer holiday in Balmoral signing cards.  (“regina” is the Latin word for “queen”.  Close friends see “Elizabeth,” and her cousins receive her nickname “Lilibet.”)
☞ BYO whatever:  They might have their own chefs, but that doesn’t mean they don’t bring something with them. Prince Charles used to bring organic food at Christmastime, including plums grown on his estate.  Others would bring their own china to eat on
☞ Playing a Christmas Eve soccer match:  For 10 years, Prince William and Prince Harry faced off in a soccer match with friends and staff from Sandringham, an estate in Norfolk, England, where their family spends the holidays.
☞ Taking it easy: The royals like to take a breather at Christmas. After the Queen’s Christmas address, the family will do jigsaw puzzles or exercise on the 20,000-acre estate together. Later, they’ll sometimes gather in the ballroom to watch a movie.
☞ Keeping the festivities going:  To honor her father, who passed away at Sandringham on February 6, 1952, the Queen stays in the estate and keeps the Christmas decorations up until the second week of February.

DID YOU KNOW?
Researchers at the University of Texas have issued a warning that drinking energy drinks could make you up to five times more likely to suffer from a stroke.  A study showed that drinking even one energy drink is enough to cause heart problems due to narrowing of the blood vessels.

• “Oatmeal Muffin Day”, a day to enjoy the cholesterol-lowering benefit of oatmeal in your muffins … then slather on a ton of butter and enjoy!

• “Holly Day”, while the prickly leaves and berries make lovely additions to any holiday décor, eating holly can be bad for your health. (Happy Holly-days, here’s a deadly plant for you!)
