BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
★ Today’s revamped edition of “Playboy” has gone non-nude … sort of. 28-year-old Dree Hemingway, great-granddaughter of novelist Ernest Hemingway, is the ‘March Playmate’ for the first so-called ‘new-look’ issue of the 62-year-old magazine. She and social media personality Sarah McDaniel pose both scantily clad and naked while partly covering themselves strategically with their hands, bed sheets, or rugs. So is there nudity or not? While there’s no more full-frontal, there certainly are flirty, natural shots of women with some, or no, clothes.

★ The first-ever Grand Ole Opry feature-length concert movie, “American Saturday Night: Live From the Grand Ole Opry”, is playing at 200+ movie theaters beginning tonight. Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, and Darius Rucker as well as The Band Perry and Brett Eldredge appear in the concert film, which was shot August 31st, 2015. The film provides a virtual front-row seat and VIP all-access pass to live performances and backstage conversations. “American Saturday Night” will expand to more theaters later in the year.

★ And Khloe Kardashian’s new late-night TV talk show has been picked up by FYI network for 15 more episodes. The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star launched “Kocktails with Khloe” January 20th and the premiere episode became the fledgling channel’s highest-rated show ever (that’s not saying a lot). Khloe, who recently welcomed interviewees like Diddy, Snoop Dogg, and sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, is now set to continue drinking and gossiping with guests until June. The show is set up in the style of a dinner party, with guests invited to join Khloe in the kitchen, dining room, and lounge.

ON BUYING GIFTS FOR MEN:
You usually can’t miss buying a card, flowers, and chocolate for a woman. But what can you get a guy for Valentines Day? A few ideas …
✓ When in doubt … buy him a cordless drill.
✓ If you cannot afford a cordless drill, buy him anything with the word ‘ratchet’ or ‘socket’ in it.
✓ Do not buy men socks. Do not buy men ties. And never buy men bathrobes.
✓ You can buy men new remote controls to replace the ones they have worn out.
✓ Buy men label-makers. Almost as good as cordless drills. Within a couple of weeks there will be labels absolutely everywhere.
✓ Never buy a man anything that says ‘Some Assembly Required’ on the box.
✓ Rope. Men love rope. It takes them back to their cowboy origins, or at least the Boy Scouts.
✓ It’s hard to beat a really good wheelbarrow or an aluminum extension ladder. Never buy a man a stepladder. It must be an extension ladder. No one knows why.
