★ According to Selma Blair, Cameron Diaz has retired from acting. Diaz is one of the most bankable stars in Hollywood, but she’s apparently told Blair that she has no plans to return to the movie business, because she’s very happy to spend her time with her husband Benji Madden. Her most-recent movie appearance was in ‘Annie’ in 2014.

★ The man Whitney Houston’s family accused of contributing to the death of her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has been arrested for domestic violence in Florida. According to the arrest report, police responded to a possible domestic disturbance Saturday morning shortly after midnight to make contact with Gordon and his girlfriend, Laura Leal. Gordon said that he wanted Leal to leave his house because she ripped his shirt and threw a bottle at him. He indicated that both had been drinking. Gordon and Bobbi Kristina Brown had a tumultuous relationship before she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in the couple’s Atlanta home in 2015.

★ “Stranger Things” creators the Duffer Brothers have responded to allegations that the duo was verbally abusive toward women on the set of the Netflix series. In a statement, they said: “We are deeply upset to learn that someone felt uncomfortable on our set. Due to the high-stress nature of production, tempers occasionally get frayed, and for that, we apologize.” That was in response to an Instagram post by camera department worker Peyton Brown, who wrote that she would not work on the show’s upcoming third season due to behavior she encountered on-set.

★ Scott Baio’s wife Renee has revealed that she’s been diagnosed with Microvascular Brain Disease, two and a half years after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. Replying on Twitter to a fan asking about her health struggles, Renee wrote: “Besides having 2 meningioma brain tumors, in Oct 2017 I also learned I have Microvascular Brain Disease.” Renee was a stuntwoman when she sustained a massive brain injury in a 1992 jet ski accident. Scott Baio confirmed the news in his own tweet, praising his wife of 11 years. “Unfortunately, this is true. Renee is forever my rock, my life & my soulmate! Toughest person I know.

★ Comedian Kathy Griffin is embarking on her comeback, nine months after she provoked outrage — and lost a lot of work — by posing with a fake severed head that appeared to depict President Donald Trump. Griffin announced on HBO’s “Real Time With Bill Maher” that she has booked upcoming shows at New York’s Carnegie Hall and at Washington’s Kennedy Center, or as she called it – “Trump’s backyard.”

• Meghan Trainor – her father Gary will appear on her new album. Gary Trainor plays piano on the song ‘Good Morning’. Meghan says, “I was playing the piano and my nails were clicking and they were like, ‘Do you have a bracelet on?’ and I was like, ‘No, please don’t be the nails,’ and it was, so I was like, ‘Dad, can you play this part for me?’ And he did and killed it.” (She also says that she (like) always wanted her dad to be (like) featured on(like) one of her songs).
• Katy Perry – One of the nuns involved in a years-long legal battle with Perry and the Los Angeles Archdiocese over the sale of a property in Los Angeles collapsed and died during a court proceeding related to the case.
• Mötley Crüe – A crew member on the band biopic ‘The Dirt’ was electrocuted on the film’s New Orleans set Saturday. A spokesman said that the unnamed rigger was dismantling a set when the incident happened. A full recovery is expected.
• Bono – has apologized after claims were made that workers at a charity he co-founded were subjected to bullying, verbal abuse, and sexual harassment. He admitted the ONE organization, created in 2004 to fight extreme poverty and preventable diseases, failed to protect some employees at its Johannesburg, South Africa office. Quote: “I need to take some responsibility for that.”
• Smashing Pumpkins – Billy Corgan has confirmed that the reunited group will release eight new songs as two four-track EPs in the coming months, and that the first song will probably arrive in May.
• Pearl Jam – fan club members have been treated to an exclusive new song, ‘Can’t Deny Me’. A 25-second clip is available to everyone via Pearl Jam’s official Twitter account.
• Blue Rodeo – Jim Cuddy has been announced as the recipient of the 2018 MusiCounts Inspired Minds Ambassador Award. The award recognizes individuals who have had an extraordinary impact on music education. It will be presented March 24 during JUNO weekend in Vancouver.
• Tim McGraw — collapsed during a performance in Dublin, Ireland, on Sunday night. His wife and touring partner Faith Hill came onstage and announced that McGraw has “been super dehydrated,” adding, “I apologize, but I made the decision that he cannot come back out on stage.”
• Kacey Musgraves – has announced a huge world tour, kicking off in Europe in October. She admitted that she was ”freaking out” as she shared the exciting news during her headlining set at the County To Country music festival at the O2 in London on Saturday.
• Dierks Bentley – is asking for fans to submit photos of their mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, or “other everyday female heroes” for use in the background during his performance of ‘Woman, Amen’ during the ACMs April 15. Deadline is April 4.
• Garth Brooks – he and Trisha Yearwood will reveal the next members of the Country Music Hall of Fame on March 27 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.

We’ve all said it, and some of us have actually been correct when we’ve said, “I’ve got nothing to wear!” But chances are, you do have something to wear. In fact, you probably have something NEW to wear. A study that examined the wardrobes of 2,000 men and women found the average person experiences ‘wardrobe panic’ 36 times a year — even when they have a closet full of clothing to choose from. Not only that, they found that 28 percent of our wardrobes have been left untouched in over a year. And the average person has 53 clothing items, of which 15 of are no longer worn. And as for that something NEW to wear? Six percent of us have at least NINE items with the tags still attached.

SPACE BAR:
We heard a little while ago that Budweiser is in the planning stages of creating a brewery for the first Mars colonists. Now, an Australian brewery has created a beer designed to be consumed in zero gravity. Sydney’s 4 Pines Brewing Company teamed up with engineering firm Saber Astronautics to craft ‘Vostok’ – an Irish stout specifically designed for people who want to catch a buzz while soaring through outer space. In addition to compensating for a dulled ability to taste, the team also had to tackle the unique problems of “wet burps,” as any gas that builds up in the body is surrounded by a bubble of beer that comes back up when you belch. Now that they’ve figured out how to bottle it so it can be consumed the same way that it is on Earth, they want to give one lucky person the chance to test it out for themselves in a weightless environment. They are asking those interested in enjoying a beer on a ZERO-G Parabolic Flight that lets you temporarily float in the air, to write a paragraph about the beer that you’d bring with you on the flight. The winner gets a trip to Cape Canaveral for three days and an experience that’ll probably get you more likes than usual on Instagram.
