★ She’ll look like a princess! George Clooney’s fiancée Amal Alamuddin certainly isn’t thinking small for their reported Saturday nuptials in Venice, Italy. The 36-year-old lawyer will wed the 53-year-old actor in a gown by designer Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. That’s the same designer who created Kate Middleton’s impressive lace wedding dress when she married Prince William back in 2011 and became the Duchess of Cambridge.
★ Attention musicians: Pornhub wants to know if your band can rise to the occasion. The Montréal-based website known best for hosting a variety of adult videos is expanding its entertainment offerings by starting a record label. Pornhub VP Corey Price tells “Billboard Magazine” that Pornhub Records, which officially launched this week, has already succeeded in securing one major artist … from the 1990s. Coolio has debuted a new song and video on the site.
★ Disney’s “The Lion King” has claimed a new crown: ‘Top Box Office Title in Any Medium’. AP has done the math and discovered the 17-year-old stage musical, which on Broadway has undergone an extraordinary spurt of box office growth in recent years, has logged worldwide sales of more than $6.2 billion, taking the lead from another Broadway long-runner, “The Phantom Of the Opera” at $6 billion. That tally plus its $988 million from bigscreen movie showings since 1994 makes “Lion King” more successful than any single film title in history.

• All-Star Tribute to George Harrison – Sunday at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles this benefit event for the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund includes collaborations among Brandon Flowers (The Killers), Brian Wilson (Beach Boys), Britt Daniel (Spoon), Norah Jones, and Weird Al Yankovic among others.
• “The Amazing Race” (CBS/CTV) – Tonight the 25th season debut.
• “Blue Bloods” (CBS/CTV) – Tonight Donnie Wahlberg, Tom Selleck, and Bridget Moynahan are back with the cop drama’s Season 5 premiere.
• “CMT Crossroads” (CMT) – Tonight singer-songwriter John Legend teams with country star Lee Ann Womack in an all-new episode as they meet and collaborate for the first time.
• “CSI” (CBS/CTV) – Sunday the debut of the 15th season, an episode titled “The CSI Effect”.
• “Ellen DeGeneres Show” (syndicated/CTV2) – Today Kenny Chesney (“The Big Revival”).
• “Global Citizen Festival” (MSNBC/NBC) – Saturday in NYC’s Central Park this 3rd annual free concert promotes the organization’s goal of ending extreme world poverty by 2030. Artists include Carrie Underwood, fun., Jay-Z, No Doubt, The Roots, and Tiesto. Ticket-holders have had to propose or perform a specific ‘anti-poverty action’ to earn admission.
• “Hawaii Five-O” (CBS/Global) – Tonight Alex O’Loughlin & Scott Caan return for the 5th season premiere.
• “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (ABC/CityTV) – Tonight Bastille (“All This Bad Blood”). Rerun.

• Barbara Streisand – Her new duets album “Partners” has become her 10th #1, meaning she’s the 1st-ever act with a #1 album in each of the last 6 decades, according to “Billboard”.
• Dierks Bentley – His 9th annual “Miles & Music for Kids” celebrity motorcycle ride & concert is on Sunday in Nashville TN. Chris Young, Kip Moore, and Randy Houser are participating in the event, which has raised over $2.5 million for the Children’s Miracle Network.
• Garth Brooks – He’s announced his world tour is heading to Minneapolis MN in November, doing 2 shows per night on the 14th and 15th at the Target Center.
• Lady Antebellum – They’re launching ‘7FOR7’, a week-long campaign where the band will travel cross-country to fulfill 7 wishes for 7 fans in 7 days. The special promotion kicks off next week’s “747” album release, with the first surprise scheduled for Monday.
• Outcast – This weekend they perform a trio of homecoming shows at  Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta GA. Tonight’s show features Janelle Monae, Solange, and 2 Chainz. Saturday Childish Gambino, Kid Cudi, and Raury open; and Sunday a number of up-and-coming rappers.
• Tim McGraw – “Sundown Heaven Town” is set to become his 15th #1 on the ‘Billboard Country Albums’ chart for next week.
• Wiz Khalifa – His model-wife Amber Rose has filed for divorce after 1 year of marriage, amid rumors she’s spending time with new manager Nick Cannon (Mariah Carey’s estranged hubby). The couple has a son, Sebastian (1), and she’s asking for custody.

• “The Boxtrolls” ( PG Family Animated Adventure ): A young orphaned boy raised by underground cave-dwelling trash collectors tries to save his friends from an evil exterminator. Based on the children’s novel “Here Be Monsters” by Alan Snow. Voice cast includes Ben Kingsley, Jared Harris, Nick Frost, Tracy Morgan.
• “The Equalizer” ( R-Rated Crime Thriller ): A bigscreen adaptation of the TV show that lasted 4 seasons in the late 1980s. Denzel Washington plays a tough guy who’s dedicated himself to beginning a new, quiet life. But when he meets a young girl under the control of ultra-violent Russian gangsters, he can’t stand idly by. Co-stars Marton Csokas, Chloë Grace Moretz.
• Opening in limited release: “Advanced Style” (Documentary); “Believe Me” (Dramedy); “Days & Nights” (Dramedy); “Jimi: All Is by My Side” (Biographical Drama); “The Little Bedroom” (Drama); “Pride” (Dramedy); “The Song” (Musical Drama); and “The Two Faces of January” (Thriller).

Sorry to break this to you guys, but odds are pretty good that your girlfriend has a back-up boyfriend … a guy waiting in the wings in case things don’t work out with you. According to a new survey of some 2,000 single women by, a whopping 43% say they have a ‘Mr Plan B’. Unsurprisingly, the most likely candidate is an ‘old friend’ … yes, it’s that guy who is ‘just like a brother’ to her. Other candidates might be ex-boyfriends or ex-husbands, colleagues, or perhaps someone she met at the gym. The poll suggests she’s known her ‘B-U-B’ for about 7 years and there’s a 1-in-3 chance that you’ve met him already. (Oh no, not Arnold!?!?!?)

Did Virgin just become the best company in the world to work for? In his new book “The Virgin Way”, Brit billionaire Richard Branson has announced that his Virgin employees are now allowed to take as much vacation as they want … so long as they finish their work. The entrepreneur, famed for pushing the boundaries both in the workplace and his personal life, says he was influenced to make the change after finding out that Netflix is also set to adopt the initiative. He argues that, in an age where employees can work remotely via email and smartphones, it is important for companies to allow staff autonomy in how much time off they think they deserve and when they take it.
