BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
★ Margot Robbie wants to extend a warm welcome to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they make their transition to North America. She opened up about her friendship with Harry, and said that that the couple “have their reasons” for stepping down from their senior roles in the royal family. She also revealed that their friendship got off to a rather funny start, as Robbie didn’t initially recognize Harry, and thought he was Ed Sheeran. The actress said she plans to invite the Duke and Duchess of Sussex over for dinner at her home in Los Angeles with her husband Tom Ackerley.

★ A sequel to Disney’s live-action “Aladdin” is reportedly in the works, with the main cast expected to reprise their roles. So far, Will Smith, Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott have not officially signed contracts to return, but it is likely only a matter of time, according to The Hollywood Reporter. There is no word yet on what storyline the sequel might follow.

BS MUSIC NOTES:
• Drake — is facing a $108,000 lawsuit from the designers of the hi-tech stage he used during his 2018 “Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour” over claims he never paid for the set-up. They were hired to create 3D visual elements for the stage to play behind and with Drake while he performed during the joint trek with Migos.
• Sia — has two albums ”waiting to go”. The Australian pop star – who is known for hiding behind an oversized wig for anonymity, plans to release one of them after she finishes promoting her upcoming musical movie, “Music”.
• Britney Spears — A judge has ordered she remain under a personal conservatorship for at least a few more months. Jodi Montogmery was given temporary control after Spears’ father Jaime allegedly got into a physical altercation with one of her sons.
• Ozzy Osbourne — has canceled his 2020 North American tour dates. He’ll use the time to continue recovering from a variety of ailments he’s been suffering from since early last year. In a statement, he said: “I won’t be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six-eight weeks. I don’t want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it’s just not fair to the fans”
• Queen + Adam Lambert – reprised the group’s historic 22-minute Live Aid set, with the same running order and many of the same rock moves during their appearance at the Fire Fight Australia concert on Sunday in Sydney. Frontman Adam Lambert is also rocking mustache similar to Freddie Mercury’s these days.
• David Byrne – “American Utopia” — a dazzling, one-of-a-kind theatrical concert that combines songs from his Talking Heads art-rock heyday with selections from across his solo career — will return to New York’s Hudson Theatre. The critically acclaimed show will play a 17-week return engagement beginning Sept. 18 and running through Jan. 17, 2021.
• Rascal Flatts — have added 11 dates and six opening acts to their 2020 farewell tour. “The Farewell Life Is a Highway Tour” will still begin on June 11 in Indianapolis but will now close with a show in Nashville on Oct. 30. Chris Lane and Chase Rice will open many shows, with newcomers King Calaway, Rachel Wammack, Avenue Beat and Caylee Hammack also opening select shows.
• Carrie Underwood — is going on tour — a book tour, that is. She’ll be travelling to Brooklyn, NY, Stamford, CT, Nashville and LA to coincide with the March 3 release of her book “Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life”.
GENERATION NEXT:
Because I know you were wondering, the term for kids born in 2010 or after is “Generation Alpha” (“Generation A” for short). The term was coined by Mark McCrindle, a social researcher in Australia. What can we expect from the cohort of kids who were born after the iPad? Ashley Fell of the research company McCrindle says because Gen A kids are the first generation to be raised in an era of portable devices, in some cases their pacifiers have not been a rattle or a set of keys, but a smartphone or tablet. As a result, they are less proficient in practical skills, and in setting and achieving goals. They will have access to more information than any generation before, and 50% of Generation Alphas are expected to obtain a university degree. Their opportunities may be endless, with an increasingly connected, global workforce, and the fact that up to 65% of those entering primary school today will end up working in jobs that don’t even exist yet.
(Less proficient in practical skills? Challenge accepted!)
(Be nice to these kids. We’re going to need them for tech support!)
(Generation X, Generation Y, Generation Z…at least we’re starting over at a logical place in the alphabet!)

SLEEP ON THIS:
If you are regularly visited by late-night sugar cravings, your best approach may be to just hit the hay. A new study published in the Journal of the American Heart Association says that there is a link between sleep deprivation and high-calorie food cravings, especially in women. A survey found that those who reported poor sleep quality or a lack of sleep also consumed more foods high in added sugars, saturated fats and caffeine. Those who didn’t sleep the recommended eight hours per night were found to eat an additional 500-800 calories per day, on average. Senior study author Dr. Brooke Aggarwal says if you absolutely must have a late-night snack, grab something that promotes sleep, such as pistachios and a glass of red wine.
(But that’s what I have for breakfast!)
(Why can’t they make sugar-flavored toothpaste?)
(Well, I think the caffeine is fairly self-explanatory…)

STEALTH HEALTH:
A study of 2,000 parents of children aged 2-18 found that over half agreed that getting their child to eat healthy is difficult. No surprise there. What are some of the tricks employed by parents in an effort to make their kids eat healthy? 22% have been known to tell their kids that all meat is chicken nuggets. 21% have even told their kids that veggies were chicken nuggets. 55% have used “stealth health” tactics to sneak nutritious foods into their kids’ diets. Those include slipping spinach into brownies and placing veggies underneath the cheese in pizza. The most successful tip to keep kids eating healthy, however, is simply allowing them to lend a hand in the kitchen. The survey, conducted for Pirate’s Booty for National Snack Month in February, also asked parents to name the things they consider a “win” when it comes to their kids. Here are the top 10 answers:
1. Getting your child to eat their vegetables easily.
2. Keeping your child occupied and quiet while grocery shopping
3. Getting your child to finish a meal without whining
4. Having your child enjoy a healthy snack
5. Having your child request a healthy snack or meal
6. Keeping your child occupied and quiet on a long car ride
7. Getting your child to finish their homework
8. Getting your child to bed without any tantrums
9. Successfully bathing your child without any tantrums
10. Successfully distracting your child while passing the toy aisle so they wouldn’t beg for a new toy

DID YOU KNOW?
You’ve seen photos of LeBron James with his knees wrapped in ice packs and his feet in a bucket of ice. But never has there been a published, peer-reviewed research paper that has definitively shown that ice is beneficial to the healing process. In fact, recent studies have shown the opposite. Ice can delay healing, increase swelling, and possibly cause additional damage to injured tissues.
