It’s Your Daily Constitutional Sheet!

BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
★ It’s all over between Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield … again. A source close to the acting couple confirms they split up a couple of months ago and it’s for good this time. As for the reason? Well, it appears to just be one of those things as the source suggests the relationship just wasn’t working. Earlier on this year they appeared to be spending time apart but sources claimed this was simply because of their busy schedules. As is often the case in showbiz breakups, it’s claimed ‘they remain close and are on good terms’.

★ Show biz couple Halle Berry & Olivier Martinez are also seemingly kaput. French actor Martinez reportedly filed for divorce just hours after Berry filed papers using a pseudonym. Citing irreconcilable differences, Martinez lists the couple’s date of separation as October 26th … this Monday. He’s seeking joint custody of their 2-year-old son, Maceo-Robert. The couple met in 2010 and wed in July 2013 in France. This is Martinez’s 1st divorce, and Berry’s 3rd. She was previously married to baseball player David Justice and singer Eric Benet.

★ There’s still a long way to go for diversity on TV according to the new “GLAAD 2015 Report”.  While there is an increase in the number of LGBT characters on our screens, the fact remains that only 4% of main characters on primetime shows diversify into LGBT territory. The 10th annual report finds that 35 out of 881 main characters are now LGBT, while there are another 35 recurring characters. The report notes a few landmarks, such as Laverne Cox (“Orange Is the New Black”) becoming the 1st trans actor to receive an Emmy nomination.

• Shania Twain – She’s auctioning off her tour bus after wrapping her “Rock This Country” tour on Tuesday. She’s been travelling North America on the luxury vehicle, which cost $1 million to build back in 1999. It goes up for grabs at the Toronto Classic Car Auction this Saturday.
• Taylor Swift – “Billboard” reports that her “1989” album has officially celebrated a full year in the top 10 on the ‘Billboard 200’ chart, making it only the 5th album in history to do so.

COMING ATTRACTIONS:
A BS selection of movies in the making …
• “Enzo Ferrari” – Michael Mann is directing Christian Bale, who will play the Italian auto mogul in this adaptation of Brock Yates’ 1991 book “Enzo Ferrari: The Man, the Cars, the Races, the Machine”. Ferrari worked for Alfa Romeo, first as a racer and then as a developer, before founding his own company in 1947. Noomi Rapace is in talks to play Ferrari’s wife.
• “The Girl On the Train” – Emily Blunt, Jared Leto, Justin Theroux, and Rebecca Ferguson are starring in this adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ best-selling novel. Blunt plays a troubled woman who becomes fascinated by a seemingly perfect couple while riding the train. But after she thinks she witnesses a murder, she begins to realize that she may be involved in the crime.
• “‘Pitch Perfect 3” – Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, and Rebel Wilson are all aboard to reprise their roles in the hit musical-comedy franchise. Elizabeth Banks is set to return to direct. Banks made her directorial debut with “Pitch Perfect 2”, which had the highest-ever domestic opening for a first-time director. “Pitch Perfect 3” is due in 2017.
• “Schlitzie: One of Us” – Filming is underway on this documentary that tells the life story of a 4-foot-tall circus sideshow performer who spent decades on the circuit, where he was often made to dress in girls’ dresses. After his handlers died in the ’60s, he was put in a hospital to die. Luckily, another performer, a sword swallower, found him and got him to perform again.
• “Split” – Director M Night Shyamalan’s new supernatural suspense thriller is due out in early 2017. James McAvoy (“X-Men”) stars, alongside Anya Taylor Joy, Betty Buckley, and Jessica Sula. The film is the follow-up to the director’s last production, “The Visit”, which grossed $89 million in worldwide box office on a budget of just $5 million.

SPY AUDITIONS:
With the new ‘James Bond’ film now in UK theaters, Britain’s MI-6 has launched a major new recruitment drive. The intelligence service is well aware that the film will lead to a flurry of interest in working for the agency. But the organization is at pains to make clear that ‘Bond’ – a gun-toting, Martini-drinking, womanizing loner – is not a true reflection of a modern-day intelligence officer. In fact, a rep says, he would probably not be successful in joining if he were to apply nowadays. A winning personality is now considered as important as a good education for new officers. The agency is seeking sociable people from working-class backgrounds.
