BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
★ Liam Neeson has landed his latest action role, three months after sparking a racism row over a controversial vigilante confession. In February, Neeson faced a backlash after admitting he once roamed the streets looking for a black person to attack in reaction to the alleged rape of a friend. He made the confession during the promotion of revenge flick “Cold Pursuit.” After apologizing on numerous occasions, Neeson is now heading back to the spotlight after being cast in the new thriller “The Minuteman, set to be directed by Robert Lorenz. The Minuteman follows a retired Vietnam veteran who finds himself responsible for the life of a young boy who is being hunted by a cartel.

★ Stock up on tissues, because “This Is Us” has been renewed for a fourth, fifth and sixth season. In a statement, Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta, presidents of scripted programming at NBC Entertainment, said: “In a television landscape with nearly 500 original scripted series, there are very few, if any, that have the critical and cultural impact of “This Is Us” and we couldn’t be more proud to bring fans three more seasons of a show that so well represents the NBC brand.” Each season will consist of 18 episodes. -TheWrap
★ NBC’s “Little Big Shots” will undergo some creative changes before it returns next year. Host Steve Harvey, who co-created the show with Ellen DeGeneres and has hosted since its 2016 launch, is departing the variety series. He will be replaced by Melissa McCarthy when the show returns next year.

★ Former WCW wrestler Silver King, who also starred in the 2006 comedy “Nacho Libre” with Jack Black, died Saturday night in the ring. He was playing his usual role of villain in London at the Roundhouse when he collapsed and died of an apparent heart attack. The 51-year-old Mexican, whose real name is Cesar Barron, played the bad guy character, ‘Ramses’, in “Nacho Libre.” Police say they’re treating the death as “non-suspicious.”

BS MUSIC NOTES:
• Justin Timberlake – He and Missy Elliott were two of the cap and gown-clad recipients of degrees at Berklee College of Music’s commencement on Saturday in Boston. The two enjoyed a celebratory weekend with Berklee’s staff and students, which culminated at commencement when they were handed their honorary doctorates in music. Elliott is the first hip-hop artist to be so honored.
• Demi Lovato — has hired Scooter Braun as her new manager. Braun is well-known for having represented the likes of Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.
• Lil Wayne – bailed on his headlining appearance at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami after being informed that he must go through a “mandatory” security check. And Kodak Black was arrested Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. A statement said he was charged with a crime in connection with weapons, but didn’t elaborate.
• REO Speedwagon — will appear tonight on AXS-TV’s “The Big Interview” with Dan Rather. Included: Frontman Kevin Cronin reflects on the moment he knew the band had made it big after they finished recording their landmark 1980 album “Hi Infidelity.”
• Queen — Guitarist Brian May has rejected media speculation over the amount of money the band made from the biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The quadruple-Oscar winning movie has taken in over $900 million at the box office, but according to May, “We had an accountant in the other day, and we still haven’t earned a penny from it. There’s so many people that people don’t realize will take pieces off the top.”
• Lady Antebellum – Charles Kelly says their new single ‘What if I Never Get Over You’ (out this Friday) isn’t about the fact that he wanted to ask bandmate Hillary Scott out on a date early in their career. In fact, he told her in front of an audience recently that “You were over me the first time we met.” He went on to say, “If you’ve seen her husband, you know she likes the bulky type, not a 6-foot-6 guy in skinny jeans.” Both are now married and have children.
• Thomas Rhett – A week after releasing his fourth studio album, “Center Point Road”, on May 31, he will headline a special “up close and personal” concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The June 8 show, taking place on June 8 during CMA Fest, will be presented in a stripped-down, in-the-round setting.
THIS WEEK’S VIDEO RELEASES:

TRASH-TEXTING:
Some people love to argue. Others would do anything to avoid a confrontational situation. Even pay someone else to do it. And that’s where Taobao, the world’s largest e-commerce platform, comes in. Among the Chinese online marketplace’s seemingly infinite list of goods and services is something called “quarreling by proxy”, which gives people the chance to hire strangers to argue – or simply harass – someone on their behalf, for a small fee. Professional quarrelers there are willing to argue on your behalf for anywhere between 5 yuan (US 74 cents) and 20 yuan (US $3). All arguing is done via phone call or texting. You can also opt for a whole day’s worth of spam calls for the equivalent of $6, or to bombard your target’s phone with “hate calls” for $15.
(But does it feel as good afterward if you don’t flame someone yourself?
(That explains a lot of the messages I’ve been getting lately…)
(Remind me of this on “Ex’s Day”!)

COMPLIMENT DEPARTMENT:
Although the perfect romantic relationship doesn’t exist, thanks to studies like these, it seems we might be getting closer. A recent survey commissioned by eHarmony found that the happiest relationships are those in which both members of a couple place a high value on words of affirmation or appreciation. What are words of affirmation? According to the authors of the study, they are best defined as unsolicited compliments. In fact, regular words of affirmation or appreciation were found to have a greater positive impact on the happiness of a relationship than the other four “love languages”: physical touch, acts of service, gift giving and quality time.
(So now she has to lie to me too?)
(Do backhanded compliments count?)
(And I always thought the secret to a happy relationship was repeated use of the phrase “Yes, dear…”)

SECRETS OF ORGANIZED PEOPLE:
➠ They live by lists: If you write it down, you won’t stay awake at night worrying that you’ll forget something. (I’d probably forget where I put it…)
➠ They find a home for everything: Make sure everything has a proper place. Put your keys and wallet in the same place every day. Establish a charging station for all devices. You’ll be much more likely to get out the door on time when you don’t have to spend time looking for essentials.
➠ They’re decisive: Whether they’re cleaning out the closet or planning a dinner party, organized people are able to make choices easily and stick to them. This allows you to prioritize your time wisely and efficiently. (I think I could be decisive…sometimes…in certain situations…)
➠ The cut the clutter: Now apply that decisiveness to your stuff. Organized people get rid of the stuff that they no longer use…including clothing. (I don’t call that stuff clutter…I call it “my unique style of décor…)
➠ They value their time: Organized people work smarter, not harder. They delegate wisely and manage their workloads efficiently. (Why does it seem like I’m always the one who gets the work delegated TO?)
(If you ask me, organized people are just too lazy to look for things…)

DID YOU KNOW?
You can look better in pictures by thinking of a rubber band, according to photography expert Jenny Kaya. Rubber bands get thinner the more we stretch them – and the same concept applies to our bodies. So, just before your picture is snapped, lengthen your body by tightening your core, elongating your spine, and relaxing your shoulders. if the picture is being taken while you’re sitting, sit on the edge of the chair with your legs at an angle – ankles crossed.
(Anyone got a “rubber band” filter?)
