BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
★ Denzel Washington may have just let slip that development is underway on “Black Panther 3″. He said that Ryan Coogler, who wrote and directed 2018’s Oscar-winning “Black Panther” and the 2022 sequel “Wakanda Forever,” is writing a role for him in a third “Black Panther” movie, and it may be one of Washington’s final movies. He revealed in August that “there are very few films” left for him to make at this stage in his career. He mentioned the new Black Panther project while promoting Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator II”. He also has a new Steve McQueen project and a film adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Othello on the way. He said to “Today Show Australia”: “Especially at this point in my career, I am only interested in working with the best.

★ “Yellowstone” spoiler alert! The show killed off ‘John Dutton’ on Sunday night’s Season 5 Part 2 premiere, but Kevin Costner hasn’t seen it yet. In an interview Monday, Costner said: “I’m going to be perfectly honest. I didn’t know it was actually airing last night.” Costner, who departed from Taylor Sheridan’s Western drama after Season 5 Part 1, said he found out about how his character was sent off the morning after the episode aired. Quote: “I heard it’s a suicide, so that doesn’t make me want to rush to go see it.” What Costner may or may not know is that by the end of the episode, it was revealed that someone was actually hired to kill him.

★ “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan has teamed up with “The Voice” alum and country star Blake Shelton on a new singing competition. “The Road” will follow a music superstar on a journey to discover the next big artist, with budding singers joining the headliner on tour, performing as opening acts in venues across the US. Singers will compete to win over local fan bases to secure a spot in the next city and remain on the tour. The headlining artist has not yet been revealed. Shelton is listed as an executive producer. The series will be a part of CBS’ fall 2025 schedule.

★ Megan Fox is pregnant! The “Jennifer’s Body” star is expecting her and partner Machine Gun Kelly’s first baby together, after previously suffering a miscarriage. She announced the news on Monday, sharing a post captioned, “nothing is ever really lost. welcome back.” In the Instagram carousel, she shared a photo where she is covered in oil while cradling her bump, and a second pic of a positive pregnancy test. BS MUSIC NOTES:
• Beyoncé — will have Yale students saying her name next semester. The famed Ivy League university will be offering a class in 2025, inspired by the evolution of Bey’s career … including her sound, fashion, and use of visual media.
• Chappell Roan – said that watching an iconic scene in the 2018 Queen biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” was a huge turning point for her. Speaking in an interview, she said that the scene, when the group is performing at Live Aid, inspired her “hardcore” switch “into pop”. Quote: “They’re doing that part, [thumping]? That changed my career…I was like, ‘I will do whatever it takes.'”
• BLACKPINK – Fans are getting a glimpse of Lisa’s acting debut in the new trailer for “The White Lotus” Season 3. In it, Lisa appears dressed in a White Lotus uniform to greet the hotel’s guests, saying, “Welcome to The White Lotus in Thailand.” LINK: https://tinyurl.com/2d3434f6
• Buckcherry — January 17, they will release a 20th-anniversary deluxe edition of “15”. The new version comes in a vinyl 2 LP format featuring the album’s 11 original songs as well as 4 bonus tracks recorded in 2005, and 3 newly recorded acoustic tracks by singer Josh Todd and guitarist Stevie D.
• Stevie Nicks – Her collab with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend’s brother has been released. She and Jason Kelce’s cover of Ron Sexsmith’s ‘Maybe This Christmas’ appears on the upcoming album “A Philly Special Christmas Party” by The Philly Specials, which features Kelce alongside 2 members of his old team, the Philadelphia Eagles. LINK: https://tinyurl.com/338dr957
• Sammy Hagar – is up for another “Best of All Worlds Tour”. He spent the summer performing Van Halen songs with bassist Michael Anthony, guitarist Joe Satriani, and drummer Jason Bonham, and he’d love to do it again, because “There is no one else to play those songs. And I’d hate to see that stuff just fade out.” He’d also like to record new music with the same band.
• Thomas Rhett – was asked in a recent interview which country star he would want to be stuck in an elevator with – and it turns out it has already happened – with Post Malone! Quote: “I did get stuck in an elevator with Post. I was trying to leave this party that he was coming to. And I got into the elevator and he goes, ‘You’re staying, right?’ I looked at my wife and was like, ‘We’re staying.’”
• Dan + Shay — have dropped a music video for their new original holiday song ‘Parson Brown’. In a newsletter to fans, they wrote that they “had a blast making this song with lots of different instruments (yes, that’s a flugelhorn you hear).” The song appears on “It’s Officially Christmas: The Double Album”, out now. LINK: https://tinyurl.com/ydk89u6p
• Sam Hunt – In a recent interview, he talked how being a dad is both surreal and amazing. Hunt, who is off the road until next year, said that taking his family on the road this summer was something he enjoyed because of the “little adventures” he had with them, especially his 2-year-old daughter Lucy. He and wife Hannah are also parents to infant Lowry.

SHOOTING THE BULL

ELECTION EXCURSION:
A cruise line is offering up something special for anyone in the US who plans to actually make good on their threat to leave the country after the results of last week’s election. Villa Vie Residences has announced that the “Villa Vie Odyssey” ship will now let passengers set sail for as long as 4 years. That means those who are upset about Donald Trump beating Kamala Harris could depart on a journey that visits 140 countries – and won’t return home until a new president is elected in 2028. The “Skip Forward” package makes its way to all 7 continents in the course of that 4 years, but it’ll cost you. Single-occupancy rooms start at $256,000, and double-occupancy rooms start at $320K. The company says the trip gives passengers “flexibility to escape traffic jams, politics, and the monotony of city life.”
(This is for all those Americans who threatened to move to Canada – then found out what it’s like there in January!)
(….as if he’s not going to find a way to run again in 2028…!)

REAL MEALS:
❑ A huge hack here for those who are hosting Thanksgiving or Christmas this year: Butterball is releasing a new turkey called ‘Butterball Cook From Frozen,’ and just like the name says: you can throw it in the oven while it’s completely frozen. That means avoiding the days-long task of thawing out a giant bird, then getting up before dawn to cook it on the morning of the big day. Instead, it’s ready to go right out of the freezer bag. According to Butterball, thanks to a “specially formulated brine” cooking it is as easy as opening the bag, slapping a little oil on the bird, then popping it in the oven. About 5 hours later, you’re pulling out a perfect turkey, or so they say. The only downside? This frozen bird cannot be fried. (That’s OK, my Uncle Jerry has that part covered!) LINK: https://tinyurl.com/bdznh24f
❑ HelloFresh is offering up a real “Friendsgiving” feast this year. The meal kit company is bringing the “Friends” TV show’s Thanksgiving episode to life, honoring the 30th anniversary of the sitcom. In a flashback to the episode titled “The One Where Ross Got High,” the limited-edition meal kit lets customers recreate the infamous shepherd’s pie-meets-English trifle recipe that was hilariously botched by ‘Rachel’ (Jennifer Aniston). You might recall ‘Ross’ exclaiming that Rachel’s concoction “tastes like feet!” and ‘Joey’ remarking that he enjoyed it because, “What’s not to like? Custard, good. Jam, good. Meat, good!” The kit comes with step-by-step recipe cards to create 2 different recipes: beef shepherd’s pie and a classic English trifle. Also included is a custom trifle dish that’s designed to keep the savory ingredients separated from the sweet ones — unless, of course, you’d prefer to enjoy it “the Joey way”. It’s available now for $35. (Seems a trifle expensive, no?) LINK: https://tinyurl.com/y8ywaabc

“SIGN” OF THE TIMES:
One reason it took days and days to certify the Nevada US election results is all down to young peoples’ signatures, say some reports. Ballot counters struggled to verify some younger voters’ ballots because their electronic signatures from driver’s license applications didn’t match up with the signatures on their mail-in ballots. As a result, thousands of voters — many of them young — needed to verify their signatures on mail-in ballots before they could be counted. Officials surmised that Gen Z doesn’t have as much opportunity to utilize their signature as previous generations did – and that lack of practice means their John Hancock isn’t always consistent. After all, these days, how often are we required to sign a legal document with a physical pen, rather than provide an electronic signature? And while years ago, paying via check was a common occurrence…well, let’s put it this way: Do today’s young adults even own a checkbook?
(I’m guessing they aren’t much for balancing their books at the end of the month, either?)
(This knowledge will make it so much easier for their kids to forge notes at school!)

DID YOU KNOW?
A Turkish plastic surgeon is experiencing a rush of business from people asking for what’s being called the “Whoville” nose job. A viral video shows before and after visuals of Ferda Erol’s handiwork, which is seemingly inspired by Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”. She is seen reshaping a female patient’s stubby snout into a ‘Cindy Lou Who’-style schnozz – including the upturned tip, of course. The seasonal surgeon has amassed tens of millions of views displaying shocking, before-and-after clips of her work, creating up-slopes that would give the Grinch himself nightmares. BS CHRONOMETER 11.13.24

TODAY’S BS REASONS TO PARTY . . .
• “World Kindness Day”, when we’re encouraged to perform acts of kindness for others. A few “suggestions” just in case you can’t think of any …
✓ Randomly place boxes of condoms in people’s shopping carts when they aren’t looking.
✓ Walk into a bar and offer to buy a round for everyone. Leave.
✓ Take the parking ticket off some poor driver’s windshield. Put it on someone else’s windshield.
(And remember…whenever you do a good deed, get a receipt, in case heaven is like the tax man!)
• “Sadie Hawkins Day”, named after the “Li’l Abner” comic strip character ‘Sadie Hawkins, the homeliest gal in the hills’. The tradition that girls can ask boys out on this day was born in the “Li’l Abner” strip published on November 15, 1937.
• “Actor’s Day”, dedicated to all the talents who have acted or auditioned for even a small role in any film, TV, or theater project. (My only acting experience is when I’ve said: “No, officer, I DON’T know how fast I was going….)
• “Mom’s & Dad’s Day”, because apparently “Mother’s Day” and Father’s Day” celebrations just aren’t enough pressure for kids to deal with … thanks a lot! (Do I have to buy a card for this one too?)
• “Bread Pudding Day”. It originated in the 11th or 12th century as a way to use stale bread. At first the recipes were savory. Pieces of bread cut up and combined with things like cheese, mushrooms, onions and other vegetables — and even meat, topped with custard, and baked. As sugar became more affordable, sweet versions emerged as desserts. (If you love soggy bread, this stuff is for you!)
• “Start a Rumor Day”. There isn’t much information available about this day, so there’s a good chance it was started by a rumor.
