★ Scott Baio is definitely not a fan of Ron Howard’s upcoming “Happy Days” reunion. The Republican actor, who played ‘Chachi’ on the hit sitcom, which ran from 1974 to 1984, voiced his opinions on the skit on Twitter, calling it “shameful.” The reunion is set to benefit the Democratic party of Wisconsin and is scheduled to air Sunday. Cast members Henry Winkler, Howard, Don Most, Anson Williams, Marion Ross, and writer Lowell Ganz have been confirmed for the event. Baio also hit out at John Stamos for asking Howard if he could “play Chachi.” Baio tweeted: “This is what Hollywood has come to #shameful.”

★ “Leaving Neverland.” director Dan Reed is currently filming in a Los Angeles Superior Court as Wade Robson and James Safechuck, the two men who alleged they were assaulted at Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch some 30 years ago, remain embroiled in lawsuits with Jackson’s companies. Reed’s plans to shoot a sequel to the documentary have been challenged by MJJ brands, which is seeking to entangle the director in court proceedings. Subpoenas have been served to the documentarian and his production company, and Jackson’s attorneys are seeking a ban on filming in the courtroom.

★ Anthony Hopkins is getting creative – and giving back. Today, the legendary actor and artist launches his fragrance collection “Anthony Hopkins”. Consisting of an Eau de Parfum, candles and diffusers, the seven-piece assortment ranges from $45 to $75 and is available at anthonyhopkins.com. Hopkins says the product line, “is rooted in my commitment to [our] partnership [with] No Kid Hungry.” For each item sold, the non-profit will be able to provide up to 50 meals for children in need.

★ There can only be one true ‘Batman’. Michael Keaton appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and was asked about rumors that he will be reprising his role as billionaire-turned-superhero Bruce Wayne in the upcoming movie “The Flash”. His response? He said he can’t confirm anything, but “We’re having discussions…We’ll see if that happens.” Kimmel then asked, of all the actors who’ve donned the cape to play Batman, who was the best? Keaton responded with no hesitation: “Me”.

• Miley Cyrus – says she was left shaken after a freaky close encounter with a UFO. She says while driving with a friend, they were “chased down” by an alien in a glowing yellow “flying snowplow”. One caveat: She says she’s “pretty sure about what I saw, but I’d also bought weed wax from a guy in a van in front of a taco shop”.
• Chris Brown — designed his own pairs of Nike Air Jordan sneakers, and because he claims Nike won’t work with him, he posted them on Instagram. He iincluded three different designs including two named after himself: “Easy Breezy” and the “Air Breezy: Viper 3.” The other is named “The Goat”.
• Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — Dave Grohl, Bruce Springsteen, Diddy, Gwen Stefani are all featured prominently in a teaser released by HBO for the upcoming virtual induction ceremony. • Jason Aldean – says he has discovered the bright side to wearing a mask. He says, naturally, fewer people recognize him when they can’t see the lower half of his face. Quote: “The mask, as much as I hate ’em, has been kind of cool because you kind of blend in with everybody else.”
• Garth Brooks – His cover of ‘Shallow’ with Trisha Yearwood will appear on his upcoming album “Fun”. The song, which was first recorded by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga for the movie “A Star Is Born”, is their next single, and received its official debut during a live interactive preview of the album.
• Dolly Parton — joined forces with Monica, Jordin Sparks, Rita Wilson and Sara Evans for the new charity single ‘PINK’. The song, released in the midst of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will raise money for breast cancer research organization Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
DIMMER TIME:
Almost any fancy restaurant features dim lighting as part of its ambience, but a new study found that poorly lit food can actually make it taste worse. Researchers at Maastricht University in the Netherlands had 138 participants eat a four-course meal at a restaurant under various lighting conditions. Under the impression they were testing a new menu, they were asked to rate both “taste intensity” and the dining room’s lighting. Guests dining under the brighter lights rated the overall taste as “more intense” as opposed to guests eating under dimmer lights. The scientists say this adds evidence to the study of what sensory factors encourage consumers to spend.
(Then why is it that those dark, drunken midnight wedding buffets are always THE BEST FOOD I’VE EVER EATEN!!)

➢ A shameless British man is being ridiculed for going on TV to try and sell a Banksy — and admitting he ripped it off a public wall. The unidentified man went on BBC’s “Antiques Roadshow” to get an evaluation for the small Banksy artwork of a rat holding onto a power drill that he found on a wall on Brighton seafront. He admitted that he took it in 2004 “with a little bit of a tug”. He was told it would have fetched at least $25,000 — but it is likely now worthless because Banksy has refused to authenticate it, as he always does with items ripped off from the public spaces. (Banksy leaves a picture on a wall and they call it “valuable art”. My kid does the same thing, and it’s “vandalism, punishable by fining his parents”!)
➢ To celebrate its 50th anniversary, U.K.-based supermarket “Iceland Foods” sent a single chicken nugget into space. It took about 2 hours for the breaded, deep-fried chicken snack to reach more than 33,000 metres (20.5 miles) above Earth. After reaching its height, the piece of chicken — Iceland Foods’ most popular selling item — plummeted back down to Earth at 322 km/h (200 mph) before a parachute opened to ensure a safe landing. The company says the altitude reached equals the height of 880,000 chicken nuggets. (I have so many questions…starting with “Why?”)
➢ A couple have named their baby girl after an internet service provider – yes, an internet service provider – in exchange for free Wi-Fi. The new dad spotted a Facebook ad from Swiss start-up company “Twifi”, offering free Wi-Fi for 18 years to anyone who named their kid after the company. A son would be named ‘Twifus’, while a daughter would be given the name ‘Twifia’. And Twifa it is! The parents, who wish to remain anonymous, gave their little girl the second middle name Twifia. They say they’ll keep the money they would have spent on Wi-Fi and put it into a savings account for their daughter. Twifus’ full name wasn’t revealed either. (But we think we may know her parents’ Wi-Fi password…)

Franchises that have a “critical mass” of women in the front office (two or more) have a 21% decrease in incidents involving police, according to a team from Syracuse University. A spokesperson said the findings “Also have implications for organizations beyond those employing professional sport players.”
