Good Morning, Sheetheads!

BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
★ Christina Aguilera will reportedly sing along with a hologram of the late Whitney Houston during the upcoming final episode of NBC-TV’s “The Voice”. The rumors began circulating on social media last week and an inside source has now apparently confirmed the news. However, when asked about the special tribute, Christina has remained tight-lipped, saying only: “I can’t say anything, but I’m very excited about the finalé.” (May 24th)

★ Composer Tim Rice is reportedly set to become a father again at the age of 71. Rice is said to be expecting his 4th child with his partner, 34-year-old playwright Laura Jane Foley, and she is due to give birth ‘imminently’. Rice, who is estimated to be worth $240 million thanks to his co-writing credits on hit musicals like “Evita”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, and “The Lion King” also has 2 grown children with his estranged wife of 41 years, Jane McIntosh, and a daughter from another relationship.

★ Eva Mendes & Ryan Gosling just pulled off the biggest cover-up in Hollywood baby history. They had one 2 weeks ago and hardly anyone even knew she was pregnant. According to the birth certificate, Amada Lee Gosling was born April 29th at 8:03 am at Providence St John’s Health Center in Santa Monica CA. The mother on the birth certificate is listed as Eva De La Caridad Mendez. The dad is Ryan Thomas Gosling. The couple has another child, Esmeralda Amada, who’s 20-months-old. It’s a little weird the newborn has the same first name as the middle name of the older child. ‘Amada’ is the name of Eva’s grandma.

LIFE BY THE NUMBERS:
A BS breakdown of who we are and what we do …
• 68% of Americans think the current presidential campaigns are leading more Americans to be rude.
• 60% of women who wear bright lipstick do so because they think it makes them appear ‘friendly’.
• 37% of guys say it’s a big turn-on when a date knows more about sports than they do.
• 30% of people polled claim they’d give up dessert for a year in order to have a nice smile.
• 25% of tequila drinkers admit they’ve ended up eating the tequila worm at least once.
• 10% of adults surveyed say they really, really enjoy the taste of … licking envelopes.

SECOND SKIN:
Scientists from Harvard Medical School and MIT have developed an invisible elastic film that can be applied to the skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and eye bags. Once applied, the formula dries to form a film that purportedly ‘mimics the properties of youthful skin’. The film is invisible, can be worn all day, and can withstand sweat and rain. At the moment it is being explored as a commercial cosmetic product. The prototype has been tested on a handful of volunteers, applying the formula to their under-eye bags, forearms, and legs. Although it’s synthetic, it’s designed to mimic real skin and provide a breathable, protective layer. The scientists say their second skin might eventually be used to deliver medicines and/or to provide sun protection. (“Don’t go out yet Mom, you only did half your face!”)

Yes, Camp Shock Top will have all the classic hallmarks of a remote sleep-away camp, including games of tug-o-war, capture the flag, and beach volleyball. There will be archery courses, arts & crafts, floating trampolines, campfires, and talent shows. But this camp also comes with gourmet food, an open bar, and co-ed cabins. Admission to the camp is being awarded through an online draw. If you don’t win, you can always register for a regular Camp No Counselors experience, which runs about $500 per weekend.
