The Academy Award-winning screenplay, which Welles and Herman Mankiewicz co-wrote, has never been released in book form. Brady previously wrote the well-received biography “Citizen Welles”. FULL OF BEANS:
Want to lose weight? Eat more beans! A new study suggests that simply adding a serving of beans to your daily diet can help you lose  weight … even if you do nothing else to alter what you eat. Researchers who have analyzed clinical trials involving close to 1,000 adults have found that participants who eat a daily serving of beans feel 31% fuller, leading them to eat less food overall. The successful participants consumed a single serving of ‘pulses’ – meaning dried seeds of legumes, such as beans, chickpeas, lentils, or peas – and didn’t make any effort to restrict or reduce their other food intake. (But unless you want to live a solitary life, don’t forget the Beano.)

GREATEST DRUMMERS OF ALL-TIME:
According to a new ranking ….
1. John Bonham (Led Zeppelin)
2. Keith Moon (The Who)
3. Ginger Baker (Cream)
4. Neil Peart (Rush)
5. Hal Blaine (the ‘Wrecking Crew’ LA studio musicians)
6. Clyde Stubblefield / Jabo Starks (James Brown)
7. Big Band era’s Gene Krupa.
8. Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix Experience)
9. Al Jackson Jr (Booker T & The MG’s)

MARRIED VS SINGLE:
Conventional thinking has it that single people are often pitied by their married friends. Seems that’s simply not true. A recent survey has found that married people think singles have more friends, more sex, lead exciting and interesting social lives, work hard to stay in shape, and are more career-minded. (Well yeah, but they’ll be missing the exciting family board-games night coming up on Saturday … pity!)

MORE BS AMAZING LIFE HACKS:
✓ Placing a cutting board on an open drawer makes extra counter space in small kitchens.
✓ You can deodorize trainers or canvas pumps by placing a fresh (dry) tea bag in them overnight.
✓ To keep the rim of an open paint can from getting gucked up, stretch a rubber band vertically around the can to wipe your brush on.
✓ For a genuine-looking smile in your pictures, squint your eyes while taking it.
✓ You can now proofread with your ears. Paste your essay into Google Translate and you’ll hear any typos and other weird stuff.
✓ Use an empty ketchup bottle for perfect pancake-batter pouring.
✓ Run your razor across a pair of old jeans to reshape and extend its life.
✓ Use a pillowcase from a bedding set to keep the sheets together in one neat place.

DEADLIEST PREDATOR:
African lions are lucky to catch 25% of the prey they pursue; Great White Sharks only succeed about half the time. Dragonflies, by contrast, may look dainty, glittery and fun, yet recent research suggests they may well be the most brutally effective hunters in the animal kingdom. Dragonflies manage to snatch their targets in midair … more than 95% of the time. (Get the horror movie script ready!)

DECISION TIME:
Have a big decision to make? Researchers have found that we make our best decisions right after we wake up. Later, we suffer from ‘decision fatigue’ and make the quicker or easier decision, not necessarily the right one. (The first decision of the day … how am I gonna haul ass out of bed?)

DID YOU KNOW?
• Studies show we let magazines collect dust for an average of 29 weeks before tossing them out. (Much longer at the dentist’s office.)
• The average person spends about 23 years of their life asleep. (Morning radio broadcasters not included.)
