BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
★ One of Hollywood’s cutest couples has packed it in.  Chris Pratt and Anna Faris have announced that they are separating after eight years of marriage.  The actors announced the news Sunday night in statements shared to their social media pages.  The statements read in part:  “We are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed.  Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still love each other and will always cherish our time together.”  Pratt and Faris’ son Jack turns five on August 25.

★ TV reboot fever keeps getting hotter.  If NBC gets its way, ‘The West Wing,’ ‘ER,’ ‘The Office’ and ’30 Rock’ will all be revived.  Of the shows on NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt’s wish list, word has it that ‘The Office’ is most likely to reemerge first.  Meanwhile, the new ‘Will & Grace’ already has a second season in the works.  The network has renewed the show for 2018 and upped this year’s return to 16 episodes, instead of the original call for 10.  Will and Grace version 2.0 premieres on September 28.
(For the love of all that is holy, PLEASE do not screw up ‘The Office’ on us!)

★ Spoiler Alert! Dan will live. Though he met his maker in the 1997 Roseanne series finale, John Goodman’s character will be present when the show returns on ABC this season.  Although insiders at ABC aren’t giving an explanation on how, they do say that the events of the finale won’t be ignored when the show returns shortly into 2018, “Dan is definitely still alive.”
And ‘Big Bang Theory’s’  Johnny Galecki is in talks to reprise his role as Roseanne and Dan’s son-in-law David.
(Well, if they can resurrect a SERIES…surely they can do the same with a character!)

★ An Emmy nomination for ‘This Is Us’ has been revoked. The time-hopping drama has had one of its 11 nominations rescinded after the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences determined it did not meet the requirements to be eligible for a nomination in the ‘Outstanding Contemporary Costumes’ category.  ‘House of Cards’ will take its place on the ballot.

★ Mindy Kaling’s pregnancy reportedly came as a shock to her family and even they don’t yet know who is the father of her baby. The 38-year-old is expecting her first child, but isn’t known to have a boyfriend.  Kaling has yet to publicly speak about her pregnancy, and sources have claimed she hasn’t even told her close friends who the baby’s father is.
(Sounds like it wasn’t just a shock to her family…)

BS MUSIC NOTES:
• Rolling Stones – Ronnie Wood has revealed that he battled lung cancer. In May, it was reported that the 70-year-old had undergone surgery to fix a lesion on his lung.  Wood now confirms that he had a cancerous growth removed.  He says that he chose not to tell anyone except his wife at the time because he didn’t want to burden others with the news. According to him, “I was ready to say goodbye” if the cancer had spread.
• Taylor Swift – is expected to testify against the Denver radio host who is accused of groping her during a photo op at 2013 concert.
• Lady Gaga – HBO will air a documentary about her in September. The one-off special will focus on the past year of her life, including the release of her comeback album ‘Joanne’ last October.
• Chester Bennington – Someone was trying to sell items from his memorial service on eBay.  Bidding reached as high as $50,000 for items including an order of service, wristband, lanyard and pin from his private funeral before eBay agreed to remove the items.
• Aaron Carter – has revealed he was a teenager when he began developing an attraction to both men and women.  He took to Twitter to share a statement saying that it was “a weight and burden I have held onto for a long time that I would like lifted off of me”.
• Kelly Clarkson and Bryan Adams – will perform at the closing ceremonies of the Invictus Games in Toronto September 30.  Bachman & Turner will also perform.   The Sept. 23 opening ceremony will feature Alessia Cara, Sarah McLachlan and The Tenors.
• Kenny Chesney – has announced a live album.  ‘Live in No Shoes Nation’ will arrive Oct. 27 and feature 29 performances from the last 10 years.
• Keith Urban – has shared video of Lauren Alaina joining him on stage to duet on “We Were Us”, his 2013 song which originally featured Miranda Lambert.

THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY:
Fill up that 72-ounce travel mug, because a new study says coffee is NOT bad for you!  Actually what they found is that CAFFEINE is not a dangerous substance to ingest.  And that’s even better, because as you know, caffeine can also be found in tea, soda pop, chocolate, energy drinks and dietary supplements.  A review of 44 medical trials has dispelled the notion that caffeine is bad for the body.  It found that sticking to the recommended daily amount of 400mg – the equivalent four cups of coffee or eight cups of tea – results in no lasting damage on the body.  The review, conducted by a leading British dietitian, also determined that caffeine boosts both mental and physical performance.  However, the review did point out that tea is the best way to get your hit of caffeine as it has half the amount found in coffee and is packed with a variety of health-boosting polyphenols and antioxidants.  Oh, and it is possible to overdose on caffeine, so stick to the limit.
(Fine.  I’ll have a tea while my coffee is brewing.)
