Bully For You!
BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
★ “Heroes” is coming back to NBC-TV as a mini-series in 2015. The series about ordinary people who discover they have super-powers was originally a smash hit with fans and critics alike when it debuted in 2006, but it became the subject of satire when it’s quality began to dip in its 2nd season. NBC says the surprising return is ‘shrouded in secrecy’ but has announced the return will imaginatively be titled … “Heroes Reborn”.

★ Movie star Russell Crowe has launched a Twitter campaign to have his new biblical epic “Noah” screened for Pope Francis. Crowe plays the title role in Darren Aronofsky’s new film that’s based on the story of Noah & the ark, and Crowe wants to make sure the leader of the Roman Catholic Church sees the movie. He’s been tweeting the pontiff’s official account and urging fans to re-post his messages. The film hits cinemas March 28th.

★ Piers Morgan’s CNN prime-time talk show “Piers Morgan Live” will soon be axed due to slumping ratings, according to a recent announcement. The British interviewer, a former editor of London’s “Daily Mirror”, will host his final show in March but has reportedly already been in discussions about a new role with the news network after the show ends. Morgan took over the talk show slot from Larry King, who anchored it from 1985-to-2010.

★ And Brooke Burke-Charvet is being replaced on “Dancing With the Stars” (ABC), though the reason for her firing has not been made public. She started her “DWTS” career as a contestant, winning Season 7 with partner Derek Hough; then 3 seasons later replaced Samantha Harris as co-host. Her duties alongside Tom Bergeron end March 17th, when she’ll be replaced by FOX Sports reporter Erin Andrews. Yep, the same Erin Andrews whose sideline interview with ranting Seattle Seahawk’s player Richard Sherman went viral.

YOUR FAVORITE SWEAR WORD REVEALS YOUR PERSONALITY:
• The ‘S-Word’ – People who use this word the most don’t put on airs; they are down to Earth, honest in their relationships and business dealings, and know how to get things done. They tend to be perfectionists and are often excessively self-critical. They make good friends and are loyal to a fault. They have a can-do attitude and make great employees.
• ‘Damn’ – These folks are very conservative and often prudish. They are open and loving and more religious than most. Calm and collected on the outside, they are a cauldron of thought and emotion on the inside. They can be quite volatile if provoked. Open-minded and artistic, they make fine painters and poets. They are also the truest, bluest of friends.
• ‘Hell’ – These people are fiercely independent and tend to use others to further their own ends. Passionate and sexy, they make fantastic lovers. They adore money and material things. They make good mates and are somewhat family oriented, although they don’t express affection as well as others.
• ‘Bull’/’Beans’/’Shucks’ – People who can’t bring themselves to curse and use softer words are often practical jokers. Extremely creative, they make fine employees and wonderful bosses. They’re family oriented and can often go overboard with things. Of all the personality types, they are the most misunderstood.
• The ‘F-Word’ – People who use the F-word and its conjugations as a verb tend to be hostile and unreliable. They view life as a joke. Even though they like the company of others, they are loners at heart. They are hard workers and are extremely productive when motivated by personal gain. They can accomplish seemingly impossible tasks if something is in it for them.

WHICH SPECIES WILL SURVIVE?
A recent study from the University of Washington tries to determine which mammals in the Western Hemisphere will actually be able to move to new areas suitable for them when they are displaced by climate change. Scientists say up to 40% of animals in certain regions could fail to reach a safe haven because they just won’t move swiftly enough to outpace the changes. Among those considered in danger: Primates such as spider monkeys, marmosets, and howler monkeys; as well as the group of species that includes shrews and moles. (And the survivors? We’d bet on coyotes, squirrels, and cockroaches.).
