BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
★ Kaley Cuoco spent the last day of June doing the best thing possible — getting married. She exchanged vows with her fiancé, professional equestrian Karl Cook. Cuoco shared a few photos from her big day, captioning one, “Legally KCSQUARED 6-30-18.” Cuoco and Cook got engaged on her birthday last year after two years of dating.

★ Andy Dick is facing sexual battery charges after allegedly groping a stranger on the streets of Los Angeles. A woman filed a police report claiming that Dick squeezed her butt twice as he walked past her on a sidewalk in April. She also said he made lewd comments. This is the latest in a long line of alarming incidents for Dick, who forged a reputation as a controversial performer, but has struggled to maintain his career following frequent and unpredictable outbursts dating back to 2007 when he was dragged by his feet off “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” for repeatedly touching Ivanka Trump and trying to kiss her.

★ Heather Locklear will reportedly head to a long-term treatment facility to tend to her substance abuse and mental health issues, capping off a tumultuous week that included both an arrest and a possible overdose. Locklear’s voluntary stint is supposed to last 14 days, but there is a chance that she could stay longer. TMZ is quoting a source as saying that “Heather has a pretty big team giving her support. The family is hopeful this time around that she will get better whereas the many times before they were not”.
-NYDailyNews
★ Chris Pratt has reportedly been quietly dating Arnold’s daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger for about 2 months. The two were photographed on a picnic date in mid-June, but apparently they had been on a number of low-key dates before that. A source says that “They both really like each other. Chris is smitten by Katherine and is super happy about how it’s going so far.” Pratt and his ex-wife Anna Faris announced their separation in August 2017. Faris is now dating Michael Barrett.

★ Despite having a rough year following the separation from Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan obviously has no plans to slow down any time soon. The professional dancer and actress is partnering with dancewear brand Danskin on a sexy yet comfortable athleisure line. Her capsule collection will be launching this fall and will have an assortment of pieces available, including crop tops, leotards and of course, the classic Danskin leggings.

• Shawn Desman – His Canada Day-eve concert in Wasaga Beach, ON was made a free event after only 17 tickets were sold. The town spent $90,000 to book the singer.
• Alessia Cara – is among the first announced performers for The 2018 IHEARTRADIO MMVAs. Halsey, and Marshmello ft. Anne-Marie will also perform at the August 26th event. Cara co-hosted last year.

• Drake – His ‘Scorpion’ album surpassed 300 million worldwide streams within 24 hours of its release, and has dominated the Spotify (#1-23 of the Top 25 in the US), Apple Music (all of the Top 25), and iTunes (#1 album and three tracks in the Top 10) charts since its arrival.
• Drake – took to his Instagram Story to pay an emotional tribute to rapper Smoke Dawg after he was reportedly shot dead in Toronto on Saturday night. Smoke Dawg, who was a member of the Halal Gang, supported Drake on his “Boy Meets World” tour in 2017.
• Sheryl Crow – Has lined up a number of superstars to appear on what she is calling her ‘final’ album. Stevie Nicks, Joe Walsh, Don Henley and Keith Richards are among the guests who’ll make cameos on the album, expected next year.

He and his wife, model Frankie Rayder, bought an “architecturally significant” 5.7-acre compound in La Crescenta, Calif. for $4.25 million. It consists of two houses next to each other, one futuristic in design, and the other with a retro-1950s vibe.
• Dave Grohl – When asked what he would do if Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson called on him to replace Neil Peart in Rush, he responded: “I would say, ‘I’m not physically or musically capable, but thanks for the offer.’”

It will happen inside Turn Four of the legendary race track, and feature performances by Cole Swindell, Stephanie Quayle, Riley Green, Mason Ramsey, Jillian Jaqueline, and RaeLynn, with FGL headlining
• Dierks Bentley – Says this of his role as a performer: “I know what’s going on at my shows. People are coming out to blow off steam and have a great time. I’m kind of like the lead bartender: Jumping up on the bar table, drinking shots with you and singing ballads with you like at an old Irish pub somewhere.”
• Johnny Cash – The “Mama Cash Home” in Henderson, TN — the former home his parents, Ray and Carrie — is for sale. The 2,800-square-foot home is listed for $845,000. The property, which Johnny purchased for his parents, is across the street from his own former residence, which burned down in 2007.

NEW INFO ON THE OLD:
A new study says that if you are lucky enough to live to the ripe old age of 105, your risk of death will actually DECREASE. Research conducted by the Italian National Institute of Statistics shows that if you are 106 years old, you actually have lower risk of death than someone who is 102. ISTAT researchers collected info from almost 4,000 people older than 105. They found that after the age of 80, death rates began decreasing, plateauing at 105. Of course, this does not mean that people over the age of 80 or over the age of 105 don’t die. The results show that the death “rate” — how many people die in a particular time period — slows down. Researchers think this may indicate that the upper limit of the human lifespan has not yet been reached and that someday, people may live beyond Jeanne Louise Calment’s world record of 122 years and 164 days.
(But they’ll still complain that they’re cold!)
(Sure, your odds of dying drop when you hit 105, but does your car insurance bill come down? Nooooo!)
(Someday we’re gonna have an awful lot of people saying “Back in MY day…”)

APPETITE APP:
Finally, they have come up with a better way to tell if food has gone bad than to take a deep sniff and wonder if you are going to gag. Researchers have come up with a way to have your smartphone do the risky ‘smelling’ for you. Using already-established technology known as near-field communication, they created a small device that operates on wireless technology, that when combined with a sensor, can detect the smelly gases associated with rotting meat. It can detect those gases earlier than the human nose, and send the info to a smartphone to alert the user of the quality of the food. Foodborne illnesses make 48 million people sick each year.
(Does this mean I might never have to hear the words “Is this good?” again?)
(So now smartphones can ‘sniff’ food and tell if it’s bad…but NOBODY can come up with a radar-detector app?)
(I have teenagers. My food is a lot more likely to be ‘gone’ than ‘gone bad!)

THE SKY’S THE LIMIT:
If you feel like you’d really like to make your proposal to the one you love “out of this world”, this might be the way to go. But be forewarned: It’s a LONG way to go. A French marriage proposal planner that specializes in creating extravagant proposals has introduced a new concept for popping the question that will definitely let her know that you are “over the Moon” for her: A chance to propose while flying around the Moon. Beginning in 2022, the ApoteoSurprise agency says they will be able to offer suitors the chance to enjoy:
• Twelve weeks of technical and physical training.
• Takeoff from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida
• The theme from “2001- A Space Odyssey”) playing in the two space tourists’ helmets when the first effects of weightlessness are felt.
• Arrival in lunar orbit three days later, flying within 200-300 kilometers of the Moon.
• Cut-off of all communication with Earth for around thirty minutes while the capsule flies over the dark side of the Moon.
• The Frank Sinatra song ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ played halfway through the orbital flight, allowing the suitor to make his marriage proposal far from any form of human life (engagement ring secretly hidden in his spacesuit).
• A spectacular Earth-rise seen from behind the lunar craters and return trip of nearly four days before atmospheric re-entry and final touchdown.
The flight-plan will mirror that of the mythical Apollo 8 mission in 1968. The spacecraft, traveling at a speed of up to 38,000 km/h, will be equipped with eight cameras allowing the couple to capture every moment of their engagement trip. How much? Just $145 million.
(Plus it’ll absolutely destroy however her first husband proposed to her!)
(I’d have a backup plan. These companies are always going broke at the worst possible time!)
(Obviously only for the very wealthy. Ha! Too late, Harry!)
