★ Caitlyn Jenner has been hit with a 2nd lawsuit linked to her involvement in a car crash in February on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu CA. In April, the family of a woman killed in the accident filed a wrongful death suit against Jenner, and this week the driver of another of the 4 vehicles involved has also filed a lawsuit. In legal documents filed in LA Superior Court, the driver claims “Bruce Jenner aka Caitlyn Jenner negligently, carelessly, recklessly and wantonly drove … so as to legally cause a collision with plaintiff.” (Oops, time to line up another magazine cover!)

★ Police have launched an investigation after a manuscript of EL James’ upcoming “Fifty Shades of Grey” spin-off novel has been stolen. Earlier this month James announced she was releasing a follow-up to her best-selling trilogy, simple titled “Grey”, which retells the events of the series from the perspective of the character ‘Christian Grey’. Now, a week before its scheduled release by Penguin Random House on June 18th, a copy of the manuscript has gone missing from a warehouse. That’s sparked fears it could illegally leak online. (With “50 Shades” sales over $400 million globally, she doesn’t really need the money anyway.)

★ And actress Zoe Saldana (“Avatar”, “Guardians Of the Galaxy”) recently revealed her soccer player-turned-artist husband, Marco Perego, took her name when they wed in 2013 thereby making him … ‘Marco Saldana’. It was Marco who came to her with the idea of going against tradition and she initially had doubts about the idea. But now she says she’s proud he decided to take her name, quote: “Your legacy will not perish if you take your partner’s surname, or she keeps hers. A real man acknowledges that nothing can be done alone.” (And a realistic man married to the star of the biggest movie ever made knows where his bread is buttered.)

• Black Keys – Guitarist-vocalist Dan Auerbach and his side project, The Arcs, are releasing an album called “Yours, Dreamily” on September 4th. The Arcs will do a 2-month tour of North America and Europe in the Fall once the album comes out.
• Kendrick Lamar – This week he’s visited a North Bergen NJ high school English class after finding out the teacher was using his “To Pimp a Butterfly” album as a tool to understand the themes in author Toni Morrison’s classic 1970 novel “The Bluest Eye”. Quote: “I was intrigued that somebody can break down the concepts of ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ almost better than I can.”
• Kesha – She has now amended her lawsuit against Dr Luke to include Sony Music Entertainment, accusing the company of putting female artists in ‘physical danger’ by having them work with the producer. Sony hasn’t commented on the case, but Luke’s reps have slammed the amendment as ‘desperate’.
• Lady Gaga / Tony Bennett – Their Tuesday “Cheek to Cheek” concert at Royal Albert Hall in London UK had to be cancelled after Bennett apparently came down with the flu. His publicist is dismissing rumors that the 88-year-old has had a heart attack.
• Miley Cyrus – In the new issue of “Paper Magazine” the 22-year-old says, “I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age.” She appears naked on the cover, slathered in mud, while hugging a pig. Apropos?
• Mötley Crue – Their farewell European tour beginning in November will include a 200-foot-high roller coaster fitted around each stadium and so many pyrotechnics that the veteran rockers will have to wear protective clothing.
• Rob Thomas – Tonight at Casino Rama Resort in Orillia ON he begins “The Great Unknown Tour” in support of his upcoming 3rd solo album. The trek continues through August 13th in Englewood NJ, with special guests Plain White T’s.
• Sex Pistols – Virgin Money has announced the punk pioneers and self-proclaimed anarchists are being saluted on a series of credit cards. They feature iconic punk imagery from the band, such as a torn Union Jack and titles “Anarchy in the UK” and “Never Mind the Bollocks”.
• A Thousand Horses – They already have a hit on their hands (hooves?) with “Smoke” and this week they’ve released the new album “Southernality”. The southern rock band, said to echo the sound of the Black Crowes, previously had a self-titled EP released back in 2010.
• Usher – Tonight he sings the pre-game anthem at Game 4 of the NBA Finals (ABC) in Cleveland OH.

COMING ATTRACTIONS:
A BS selection of movies in the making …
• “After” – Paramount Pictures is adapting this fan fiction novel loosely based on One Direction. Texas writer Anna Todd landed a 6-figure deal with Gallery Books for a 3-part series after self-publishing instalments online. The tale follows the romance of a punk version of 1D star Harry Styles and a college student called ‘Tessa’. The online story pulled more than 1 billion views.
• “Aquaman” – Warner Bros has hired “Furious 7” director James Wan to helm this upcoming DC Comics adaptation, which will star 35-year-old Jason Momoa (‘Khal Drogo’ in “Game of Thrones”) as the ‘King of Atlantis’. The story focuses on his reluctance to take power as his citizens prepare for war against the surface world. “Aquaman” is slated for release in July 2018.
• “The Girl On the Train” – Brit actress Emily Blunt is in talks to star in the movie adaptation of Paula Hawkin’s debut novel about an unemployed alcoholic who spends her days riding the same commuter train, concocting a perfect life for a couple she always comes across during her travels. The best-selling book has sold 2 million units since its January publication.
• “Goon: Last of the Enforcers” – 32-year-old actress and hockey fan Elisha Cuthbert has joined the cast of this sequel sports comedy, which also features returning cast members Jay Baruchel, Liev Schreiber, and Seann William Scott from the 2011 original. The new film, about a team of scab players subbing for striking pros, begins filming later this month in Toronto ON.
• “Sister Act” – Disney is remaking the 1992 nun comedy which already spawned a sequel in 1993. The original film starred Whoopi Goldberg as a Vegas performer who puts together a gospel choir in a nunnery while hiding from a mob boss. It’s not confirmed if Whoopi will have a role in the sequel, or her original cast-mates Harvey Keitel and Maggie Smith.

THE BEDPOST APP:
Soon you’ll not only be able to track your workouts at the gym, but also the ones in bed. Apple’s new iOS 9 update will add a new feature to its Health App under ‘Health Data’ titled ‘Reproductive Data’. It will track exactly how often, when, and how the user has sex. Users will also be able to enter information on whether protection was used, dates, and times. Once the info is entered, the Health App can plot it on a chart or in a numerical read-out like it does with other data such as calories or number of steps taken. The new Reproductive Data feature was not mentioned at this week’s Worldwide Developers Conference, however developers who’ve already received iOS 9 confirm that it exists. (Great, now you can be digitally disappointed and depressed with your sex life.)

Would you pay $45 to plump your pout for just one night? A London UK cosmetic doctor is now offering a ‘Cinderella Lips’ jab that lasts just 6-to-8 hours before being absorbed by the body with no traces left behind. The 5-minute temporary lip-plumping procedure is exactly the same as having a regular filler injected into the lips, the difference being what’s in the syringe … a saline solution. It’s said there are no possible side effects or allergic reactions because what’s being injected is basically what the human body is made of. Some patients think of it as a practice run before committing to more permanent lip-plumping. (Weird. You go to bed with ‘Angelina Jolie’ and wake up with ‘Clint Eastwood’.)
