Sweet Sheet!
BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
★ Sony Pictures is planning a film adaptation of the Broadway show “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical”. The stage production, which debuted on Broadway in January 2014, tells the story of composer & performer King and her songwriting collaborators Gerry Goffin, Cynthia Weil, and Barry Mann. It’s packed full of hit songs like “Will You Love Me Tomorrow”, “Up On the Roof”, “So Far Away”, and “I Feel the Earth Move”. The show earned 7 Tony nominations and won 2 of them. It’s already spawned a London West End production and a North American touring company, which kicks off in the Fall. (King’s breakthrough album “Tapestry” topped the album chart for 15 weeks in 1971 and remained on the charts for more than 6 years.)

★ Magician David Copperfield’s luxury 4-story Manhattan pad on the 57th floor of the Galleria Tower was recently flooded when the pump on his rooftop pool malfunctioned and the entire pool drained through his apartment and those below, right to the basement. The flood also knocked out the posh property’s elevators. Copperfield was performing at his residency in Las Vegas at the time of the disaster and was said to be ‘terrified’ that his precious art and antique collection would be ruined, but was relieved to learn the valuables were saved. Copperfield purchased the place in 1997 for $7.4 million. (Let the lawsuits begin!)

★ And former spouses Miranda Kerr & Orlando Bloom have reportedly been … ”hooking up”. A source claims the estranged couple, who split in 2013 following 3 years of marriage, have been getting together whenever they can, believing the close relationship they share is beneficial for their son Flynn (4). The 31-year-old model & 38-year-old actor have remained on good terms since their split and sparked rumors they may be taking steps to rekindle their romance when they left the “Vanity Fair” Oscars after-party together last month. (Since their split, she’s been linked to billionaire Aussie businessman James Packer and – seriously? – Justin Bieber.)

BS WAYS YOU’RE USING PRODUCTS WRONG:
✗ You’re supposed to use the little hole in the pop can tab to hold your straw.
✗ You’re supposed to use a ‘flange plunger’ for your toilet and a ‘cup plunger’ for your sink. Yeah we know, you just use the cup plunger for everything.
✗ You’re supposed to push in the tabs on either end of the plastic wrap or aluminum foil box to prevent the roll from coming out.
✗ You’re supposed to use only a dab of toothpaste. And you’re not supposed to rinse after you brush.
✗ You’re supposed to store peanut butter upside down so that the oils distribute evenly.
✗ You’re supposed to peel bananas from the other end, not the stem end.

• Ultra-Ever Dry – This is a highly hydrophobic paint that’s recently been used in St Pauli, a trendy neighborhood in Hamburg, Germany that got fed up with inebriated party-goers urinating against walls. When lower sections of walls are coated with the product, it causes the liquid to splash back, creating a problematic experience for the offender.
