100% Grade A Bull!

BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
★ The ladies of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (Bravo) fear their co-star Yolanda Foster’s renowned music composer husband, David Foster, has a wandering eye for younger women. Amidst rumors the couple has hit a rocky patch, 50-year-old Yolanda’s fellow housewives are claiming David (64) definitely likes to flirt with women, especially much younger ones. On the housewives’ recent trip to Puerto Rico, the others called out Yolanda for not having her husband around. She explained David had made it clear the show was ‘beneath him’. It is Foster’s 4th marriage and he’s had issues in the past with being in committed relationships, but his rep has stated that rumors of a split are ‘totally not true’. (BS translation: He’s outta there!)

★ The white male tiger that mauled showman Roy Horn onstage in Las Vegas in 2003 has died. ‘Mantecore’ attacked the German entertainer midway through a Siegfried & Roy show at the Mirage Resort & Casino, leaving him in a critical condition. The incident ended the duo’s run as one of the top attractions in Sin City; 267 cast and crew members were laid off. But Horn has always maintained the tiger was not to blame for his injuries. Announcing the big cat’s death this week, Horn said, “The world has lost one of its most majestic creatures and I have lost a brother.” ‘Mantecore’ was 17-years-old when he passed away after a short illness. (Aw, poor widdle puddy tat … er, make that 300-lb puddy tat.)

★ And Kim Kardashian’s mom-ager Kris Jenner (58) has turned to cops for help after claiming she’s become the target of an extortion plot over a sex tape. The reality TV matriarch claims she’s been bombarded with phone calls, voicemail, and text messages every day for the past few weeks from someone who claims to have explicit footage of Jenner engaged in a steamy romp. Jenner is adamant the tape does not exist, despite previously confessing to once filming herself and estranged husband Bruce Jenner (64) making love early on in their relationship. (Icky! Can we please take up a collection to make sure this never surfaces anywhere?)

FOR 500, WHICH GAME SHOW HAS LASTED A HALF-CENTURY?
It is the 50th anniversary of “Jeopardy!” this weekend. The original daytime version aired on NBC-TV from March 30, 1964 to January 3, 1975 with original host Art Fleming. The evening version followed. So why has it lasted so long? Perhaps because it’s a game show that requires pure skill, or as close as we’ve come to one. Winners need both a vast knowledge base and very quick access to the brain’s darkest reaches of memory. Or perhaps it continues to survive simply because it is just so damn hard. The game made its developer, talk show host Merv Griffin (1925-2007), mega-millions. And Alex Trebek has made out OK as well, hosting the game for 30 years, since 1984. “Jeopardy!” ‘Think’ music here …

YOU DA MAN:
Millennials, it’s not all about you anymore. It’s only about some of you. Specifically, the ‘Yummies’. That’s the term  banking and financial services company HSBC has coined in a 100-page report to its clients this month, to refer to the growing buying power of the young urban male (YUM). These guys have what so many other Millennials don’t … money. With well-paying jobs and no family to support, at least yet, Yummies have disposable income to burn. According to HSBC researchers, “The metro-sexual, that cliché from 20 years ago, is now becoming a commercial reality.” (Also known as ‘Boys with Toys’.)

LESS GEEKY GLASS?
Google is hoping to make its Internet-connected eyewear more stylish as part of a partnership with Luxottica, the maker of Ray-Ban and Oakley frames. The alliance with the Italian eyewear designer is Google’s latest attempt to make wearable technology look less geeky. Luxottica will develop frames equipped with Google Glass, a thumbnail-sized screen above the wearer’s right eye to view Internet content. More than 10,000 people have already bought Glass as part of a limited ‘Explorer’ program. Google still hasn’t spelled out when it will be widely available, although it’s still aiming for later this year. (Glass is priced at about $1,500. Ray Ban frames will likely add $200-plus more.)
